Samsung To Extent Cryptocurrency Built-In Support Feature On Their Smartphone Devices

With a lot of interest in the cryptocurrency world that is pulling industries into space, a lot of world’s technological giant seems to explore the way in crypto and Blockchain.

As per the recent local media report, the top South Korean electronics giant Samsung has announced the development of new features into its new budget Smartphone. The company revealed its plan that its new galaxy S10 series devices would be integrated with the Blockchain wallet feature that allows users to store their crypto assets securely (ethereum, not Blockchain) with the Smartphone.

According to the report, Samsung, in order to harness the complete potential of the digital assets, is tossing towards implementing this feature on phones. With this, the Smartphone giant has begun talking with major telecommunication companies for generating mobile application ID cards and integration with top fiat currency of the world.

Talking about the development, Samsung chief Chae Won Cheol said that this initiative by the firm will enable the tech company to move ahead into the next phase of integrating Blockchain features into all of its smartphones.

Won Cheol explained that together with his team, they “will lower barriers to new experiences by gradually expanding the number of galaxy models that support Blockchain functions. We will also expand our services target countries after Korea, the United States, and Canada.”

For those who do not know, Samsung has always been keen on exploring different ways to implement Blockchain into its devices. Reportedly Samsung has launched its S10 series devices with mobile-friendly crypto wallets to support BTC, ETH, COSM and ENJ. Not only this, but Samsung has also made the announcement that confirms the availability of cryptocurrency wallets for budget phones users.

This news from Samsung comes after HTC announcement and it seems that the electronics giant is trying to catch up the Taiwan based HTC’s exodus phone.

HTC has unveiled its plan last week to release a budget-friendly version of its Blockchain based Exodus. The Smartphone which will be billed minimum will offer Blockchain features including complete bitcoin node and wallet to support ERC-20.
